What they were doing

Vanilla Crimson started off in 2010 as a blog shop, relying on bank transfers for their transactions. As business expanded and proved lucrative, the website was improved to a full fledged eCommerce store in mid April 2011, allowing automated transactions for ease of use by customers.

Vanilla Crimson found that Social Media is now a common place for the young and trendy online savvy users, and this fits directly with their targeted audience. Having started a page, they wanted to go further into engaging and rewarding their expanding fans.

Extending the Business with BlinkCampaign

After signing up, Vanilla Crimson selected a number of products to import into BlinkCampaign’s Social Storefront app, increasing marketing exposure of their products to their fans.

Vanilla Crimson launched a 10% discount Coupon campaign to reward their Facebook fans. 50 lucky fans would be able to enjoy the discount off their latest pre-order purchases. The Coupon promotion was limited to fans only, using the fan gating function to encourage users to join as a fan before enjoying the privileges.
